Ram Nath Kovind becomes a 14th president of India. He took a sworn as President of India. Mr. Kovind won against Meira Kumar by 33000 votes. Next, to K.R. Narayanan, Mr. Kovind is the Dalit president of India as second time.

By 11:40 am President Ram Nath kovind reaches the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Along with Mr. Mukherjee, he visits the presidential palace with his wife. He is heartfully welcomed by all. By 11:50 am, few members guide him to the Limousine board together at Central hall of Parliament. By 11:55 am, Vice-president, Prime minister, cabinet members, and parliamentarians have arrived already. In front of Chief justice J.S. Khehar, the president will take a sworn. By 12 noon, they gave the first salute to Mr.Kovind and then the last salute to Mr. Mukherjee. President Pratibha Patil, Former Prime ministers Manmohan Singh, Senior ministers Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley have seated orderly. By 12:07 pm, swearing ceremony begins. By 12:08 pm, J.S Khehar Chief justice of India administers an oath of office to president elect Ram Nath Kovind in Hindi.
